Which wedding band with my 3.5 pointer ER?

Hi everyone, please help me make a decision about my custom wedding band! Will be made by the same B&M that made my ER. My custom engagement ring has 3.5 pointers in the band. My engagement ring is a cathedral setting with a shank that sits higher/thicker on the top of the finger, and prongs that are curved... plenty of room for almost any band to sit safely flush, so no need to take prong safety into consideration here!!

The larger band has roughly 15 pointers. I like the look of contrast but I don’t want to detract from my center, which is a 1.74 round brilliant.

I prefer the smaller diamonds so that your e-ring diamond isn't overshadowed. I'd personally go even smaller, but I'm a weirdo. I have 3 pointers in my band with a ~3 carat diamond solitaire!

I would go smaller than the 15 ptrs. Probably try an 8 ptr and see how that looks. You need to go try some on.

I like the larger band because if the size isn't going to be the same then I like it to be more obviously different. I don't think it overshadows your center at all.. it adds to it. And I usually like more petite bands too...

I prefer the smaller one. I like for the wedding band to compliment the engagement ring - not overpower it.

Personally I'd go with a plain band, or a diamond band of the same size as the engagement ring band and a plain band, worn in between the two. I think both of the options presented really overpower your center stone and you might get DSS faster.

I like the smaller one more and possibly even smaller 5 or 6 pointers for a more balanced look.

Larger one. The prongs look more in proportion with your ering's side stones. Bling it on!

Me, I’d go a different shape diamond. Like French cuts and I’d have 2 of them, one either side.

I prefer the smaller, but think the suggestion to go with exactly the same size as the ER is the best option IMVHO.

I would definitely go with the smaller, or match the size of the ER. To me the larger looks out of proportion.
