Which one would you choose?

1. An ACA whcih shows some leaks (green) under the ideal-scope
2. An AGS0 which shows virtually no leak under the ideal-scope

Assuming both stones are of the same quality ( color, carat, clarity, propoertion.. etc ) but perhaps a little premium on the ACA.

Thanks!

Zeiss.

First, what shape?

Secondly, do you mean in an ASET?

It''s a round shape. Yes, I was meant to say an ASET.

I'd probably get the AGS0. (non ACA)

post a link too both stones.
BTW green isn't leakage under ASET it is low angle light being returned.
Black or white depending on the setup is leakage.

I don''t have links to real stones, they are just hypothetical stones I make up in order for me to learn more what I really want.

I have browse through a few ACA & H&A stones, most of them have little white triangles beside the tip of the arrow. They appear as white in ideal-scope images and green in ASET images. (Thanks strmrdr for the correction.)

Maybe I''m not looking at high quality ACA/H&A stones?

Can someone show me ideal-scope and/or ASET images of a ''perfectly ideal'' stone? :)

those belong there, they add contrast brilliance too that area.
The only way too remove them is too paint or dig the girdle facets which affects scintillation.
