FWIW, I prefer very dellicate single claw prongs...I''m so pleased you''re moving forward with your ring

Hi Gypsy!

So happy you are moving foward with this project!!! My vote is for delicate, single claw prongs. I love double claws, but I agree with the others that singles will just flow better with the overall design of this particular ring.

Can't wait to see it all complete and on your finger!! YAY!!

Irina did these two mock ups of the setting I''m getting. Which prongs do you like better for a 6 x 6 asscher.
A) Single Talon Prongs (ala Turtle''s setting)

Or

B) Split prongs
I like the single prongs. The split prongs to me look like claws and I just don''t find them aesthetically appealing. Of course, others love them it is just a matter of personal preference.

Gypsy, I am joining in this discussion a little late, but I like the single talon prongs with the rest of that setting. I like delicate split prongs on a Leon ring that is all thin and delicate. You have substatiantial side pieces to this setting, and I think the center needs to be complementary and not a different style. Come to to think of it, I cant even remember what the original ring had! I need to go back and look!

Also here a tad late, but I always prefer split prongs with an Asscher over single prongs. Both look gorgeous though!
