Which Pendant setting is better?

Hi guys,

Another question for ya, which pendant setting is better for a VERY SMALL DIAMOND(0.23CT)?
I am leaning towards the Stationary one since the diamond is so small, I don't want the metal to overwhelm it...

I think that I like the first one better for a smaller diamond as well.

The first one - it will give the diamond the appearance of "floating" on the skin.
