Hello everyone!
I am looking for advice on what type of micropave halo to choose for my round brilliant center stone. The center stone is a 2+ carat round brilliant and I cannot decide between a round micropave halo or a cushion-style micropave halo. (The halo will be tiny micropave, similar to the Harry Winston pave style.)
Initially I was set on a round halo because of the delicate look I am going for and to accentuate the roundness of the center stone. However, the more I think about it, the more I wonder whether the cushion-shape halo around the round stone would look better on my short fingers as it would somewhat elongate the look. I am wondering if anyone has advice on which shape of the halo (round or cushion) would potentially be the most flattering on short/chubby fingers. I know there are certain stones, i.e. oval, radiant, pear that can make fingers look longer, but I went with the round brilliant diamond as I absolutely adore the brilliance and performance of a round!
Thoughts?! Thanks much!
