so to give you all a background on my dilemma, I am trying to decide on a dress that I am supposed to change into for the wedding reception (which is part of my culture). They look similar but have slight differences. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of me in them but here are the model shots. (and it going to be in red too).

here''s dress option 1:

here''s dress option 2

I prefer the second one, it''s more streamlined IMO. They would both look gorgeous though, and you get to wear two beautiful dresses you lucky girl!

I like the second one too! But they''re both really beautiful :)

I think they are both beautiful so really I would pick which you like better :).

Both lovely choices and without seeing them on your body it is a tough call. I think I would go for the 2nd one. The waist line is so elegant, and I can imagine its being a knockout in red. Hope we can see the one you choose on you soon!

I like the first one personally. Such an interesting design in the back! But yes, you would have to try them on and post pictures of you in the dress. So lucky to get to wear 2!!!

I love the first!

I don''t really like the waist area of the second, just a personal preference as extra fabric there makes me look thicker in the middle

I like number two best, but the first one is nice as well!

I much prefer the first one. It''s beautiful!

I think it depends on your body type. I perfer the 1st one overall.

This is so true. However, my vote goes for #1. Every part of it is unique!!

I love the first one - I''m a sucker for trumpet shapes!

I much prefer #1, #2 looks matronly to me.

ditto, 2 is an older look, IMHO.

You can''t got wrong with either one, they are both beautiful! I almost have to say dress 1, only because it is more unique and the back is gorgeous.

I prefer the 1st one in the model shot, but I think it really depends on which you feel better in and will be more comfortable in. That''s the one I''d pick.

My vote is for dress 1 too, the gathered lines at the back will give you a slimmer look around the waist and hug your hips, unless of course you''re already very slim and would like to have the fabric draped around to accentuate your bottom

, just my 2 cents

thanks everyone for all your honest opinions. I personally felt a little more passionate about the first dress when I tried it on but I think my sister says she likes the 2nd. and now i''m all torn. They both look good to me but now it''s just about which of the two is better. I''ll try and get some pictures in as soon as i can get my hands on the dresses again.

Well, if you felt more passionate about one of them, I really think that''s more important than how your sister feels. But definitely pics of you in the dresses would help us advise on which one suits you more

Ohh, I really, really love the back and pleating of #1 so that one definitely gets my vote! I think it's gorgeous and way more unique than dress #2 imho.

#1!!!! it''s stunning!

I like #2!

Both are very lovely, but I vote for #2. It is classy and timeless. I''m just not sure about the black embellishments on #1. I''d have to take a closer look...

I prefer the second one, but the first one is very pretty as well.

I LOVE

the first one, but they''re both beautiful. I think the first one in a bright red could be a little "much", but in a deeper red it would be stunning...although I have to say that either would be a good choice.
