Hi,

I''m curious to know what yall''s opinion would be on these two stones
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4844/
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5303/

I''m a newbie looking for some expert opinions on these two beauties. I can''t tell from picture which one would sparkle more and give off more fire (which I love). However, I do like colorless stones, so I''m leaning toward the F, but the I bigger :) Also, I''m not a fan of tables larger than 56%, which makes me lean toward the F. However, the size of the I and slightly better clarity is tempting!!! :)

Any thoughts are much appreciated. I love pricescope! Yall have helped me learn so much...THANKS!!!

Hi Rooster,

Have you actually compared these table sizes in person? I doubt you would notice any visual difference between them. First thing to do is to check that both are eyeclean to your standards - also I doubt it is the case, but the SI2 has a grade setting cloud so check with Jon that it isn't visible. As to which is the most fiery, I would hazard a guess this would be the I colour, but I would ask Jon which one shows the most fire, and he might even be able to do a comparison video for you if you ask him.

Thank you for your very kind words regarding Pricescope, much appreciated!

I think I''d have to go with 5305, but you should probably get more information about each of the stones before you really make a decision (it would be best if you could see them in person, but you could definitely call and ask). In SI1/SI2 stones, the most important thing - above color and carat weight and table percentages and all that - is that it''s eyeclean, IMO.

Then again, I''m also a noob - so you might want to take some advice from other PSers first
