I''m torn between which diamond to choose, and would really appreciate some help. Which of these two diamonds would you recommend? Which one would sparkle more? Is color more important than polish in ''sparklyness''?

All other characteristics are exactly the same.

Diamond A:
1.06 carat
Color: D
Polish: VG
Depth: 74.2
Table: 69
Lenght/Width ratio: 1.05

Diamond B:
1.02 carat
Color: F
Polish: EX
Depth: 73.1
Table: 69
Lenght/Width ratio: 1.03

I suppose the diamonds are pricess cut. Could you provide additional details, like symmetry, pavilion depth & crown height, etc

Yes they are princess cut. Both diamonds are very similar, both have culet: none, flourescence: none, Clarity: VS1, cut: Premium, Girdle: thin-medium and symmetry: VG. The only differences are the ones I mentioned in the first post.

However, I don't see anything about pavilion depth and crown height.

You could ask for "Sarin report" from the dealer. The second stone has smaller depth, which is what is ideal. For princess stone, it is ideal that the depth is in the high 60s and low 70s. The more the deep it is, the smaller the stone will look, and lesser its value. From you specifications, even though the first stone is of better color, D, the second one has smaller depth. Sparkle, fire and brilliance of a stone mostly depends upon the cut and its ability to reflect light. The F color is still very good, and I don't think one can really tell the difference between an F and a D color just by looking at it. You should really ask for a "Sarin report" from the seller. May I ask how much is the price for both the stones
