The different in price is $100 for the 1.31 being more expensive.

Is there anything about either diamond that I should be concerned about?
Which one should I get?

This is for an engagement ring.

They both look good but I would choose the 1.31 for myself assuming they can tell you it is totally eyeclean. I am more familiar with the angles on that stone and know I would like it, so that is why I'd choose it.

What is it about the angles that you like of the 1.31?

If you were going with the 1.31 would you go $200 more than that for a 1.32 G VS2

The 1.32 has the same crown angle as the second one, so these would be equal in my view. Both are great. At this point, if they have someone who can look at the 1.31 and 1.32, I would buy the one that is cleanest form top, sides, and even with a loupe!

I just choose to stay within 34-35 for the crown angle because the top branded hearts and arrows stones chosen by vendors such as WhiteFlash use those parameters most of the time. A higher crown angle than that may have a little more fire in certain lighting, but I prefer a nice balance of brightness and fire. You want the diamond to look as bright as possible in most circumstances. (An ideal cut can look dark in certain lighting, though, so don't worry when you first see that!)

If #2 and #3 are equally clean, then I would choose #2. Honestly, though, I really prefer vendors that show pictures and idealscope images of the stones such as Good Old Gold and WhiteFlash because you can see what you're getting a little more accurately.
