Which diamond to choose for a Gent's band?

Which one of those princess cut diamonds would you choose?

Hmmm, tricky!

The top left looks better in the spotlighting at 0:26, but the top right looks better in the lighting at 0:32.

The bottom one looks alright in all of the different lights, but I'm not sure it's quite as 'active' in terms of scintillation??

It's hard - not being on the same tray makes it harder, and there was not a great deal of movement of the tray/ring to ascertain performance at a wide range of angles!

Looking at the links, I personally couldn't cope with the large table inclusion in the 0.9, but I do like the facet patterning on the 360degree video.

I couldn't get the other two videos to load/work (if they are there?) but the plots on the grading reports look pretty clean on my screen.

The 0.83 has a much smaller table size than the others, which might increase fire??

A difficult decision!

I like the one in the setting. It looked to be consistently bright as well as sparkly. Not sure how much of that was a factor of not being in the tray.
Not liking the inclusion on the .9 which would have been my second choice minus the inclusion.

I just received the ASET of the diamonds from Matt at GOG if that helps forming a decision:

Thanks again...!

All are decent ASET images with little leakage :) although I think the 0.9 and 0.83 might be more 'balanced' in terms of contrast patterns across the stone?

The 0.9 looks a little 'messy' whereas the 0.83 looks a bit more organised, to my eyes.

Prefer the .83 for the reasons @OoohShiny and @tyty333 shared. More organized and brighter and fiery.

The .83 is the best of the bunch and largest at 5.16 mm.

Just be aware that princess cuts face-up small for their weight. So, this round with lower weight and onpar price (higher grades), is bigger by a lot at 5.68 mm.

One other option to consider is a radiant. They can higher face-up. This one is lovely and 6.15 x 5.36. Its a really nice version of "crushed ice" and on-par in budget.

Many men in my family rock big stones.
