Which diamond to buy?

Hello,

I have has a setting built by a local jeweler. Trying to decide between the main stone. I was looking for a 1.25 ct princess cut stone. I have narrowed it down to 2 choices:
EGL USA Cert. 1.28 Ct
G Color
SI1 Clarity
Polish Excellent
Symmetry Very Good
Price $6000
GIA Cert 1.37 Ct
G Color
VS2 Clarity
Polish Good
Symmetry Good
Price $6000

From the naked eye both stones look pretty good. On paper the GIA is I believe to be the better deal. Looking and the stones with a 10 loupe the EGL looks better. The GIA has a noticeable carbon on 1 side pin point size. I could not see anything on the EGL stone. Any suggestions on which to choose? Thanks in advance.

EGL SI1 looks cleaner than GIA VS2? I am surprised.

Yes it looks cleaner with the 10 loupe. When looking at both diamonds with the loupe I noticed a carbon spot right away on the GIA and could not see anything on the EGl. The jeweler told be there are inclusion on the EGL (tiny bubbles towards the bottom). I just could not see them.
