Cut and paste the link, it should work. You should probably put the stones on hold if you can to stop lurkers getting them as well.

ok I edited the original post. :) I have the 0.59 on hold.

I don't think there is much in it at all, I'd probably buy the bigger one personally because that is just me, but it depends if you really want white looking or not. If you like white go with the G if not then the I is fine. They are both beautiful stones.

Exactly. Which is why I'm torn.

I like the bigger one for clarity reasons, and not just because I am a clarity snob. I think with this cut, the larger looking flowery facets will make things more obvious, much like in a step cut. That's my totally non-scientific reasoning. I also like it because it's an I, and for some reason I think an HIJ in this cut would be freaking insane vs a higher color.

I prefer the .59, like Ame, I really like the larger flowery faceting.

Can you go and see them? Or do what Diamondseeker did and pay for one and put the other (or both) on a credit card get them both, look at them for a day or two and work out which one you like best? Then send the one you don't wish to purchase back to them.... If not I would still pick the bigger one.

I'm leaning toward the bigger one as well. At first my eye was drawn to the smaller one, but I think after repeated viewings that I like the bigger one more. :)

Oh, fun!!! :appl: Let me look at the video! What are you doing with it?

Okay, I think their appearance will be so similar as far as cut that that can't help make the decision. And the side shots with them holding up the stones made the size difference seem minimal. So I agree, you are choosing between a little brighter stone that is smaller versus a more subtle color that is slightly larger. I'd obviously choose the I color one since my AVR is I color, but if I had had the choice of multiple colors, I would have bought an H.

I'd get the I color.

I prefer the G, but they're both beautiful.

For me, i would get the I colour.

Well........ the long term plan is to get a larger one if I like it. I want to see one in person since I'm obsessed with them, and these are in budget right now. My RB isn't "doing it" for me anymore, so if I fall in love w the AVR I may sell the RB to help fund the project. But that's all in the future, so I'm leaning toward having them set this in a "temp" setting that I can live with (i.e. not a peg head on a shank) for a while and be able to enjoy it and not lose it.

I don't think the I color will bother me - I actually quite like my J color EC. And I have my great-grandmother's OEC that is a lower color as well and it is beautiful. But I've been a color snob in the past (hence my D RB). So the G is tempting, but I think I should eek out any size I can at this carat weight.

At first my eye was drawn to the G, but I think the I has a bit more edge brightness under spotlighting, esp along the bottom. Am I seeing things? I think the natural light shots are worthless. :(

Here's the setting I'm leaning toward right now -
