Where to set a diamond in Hong Kong

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a diamond online and then shipping it to Hong Kong where I can pick it up for setting at a local jeweler. Any veterans here have an idea of where I can find such a jeweler? The diamond is a 1.21ct round brilliant, thinking of getting a six prong tiffany-like setting in platinum.

I am interested in finding such jewellers too for future references, mainly for colour stones.

I purchased some ready made jewellery from a shop when I was there in 2009, and they mentioned they have their own workshop/bench etc...

I'll see if I can find their name later when I am back at home. They have moved to a different address since my visit in 2009, it was just a short walk away, and I managed to find it when I was there last year.

No idea, sorry!

When I enquired about whether they could re-set my EC in a bezel setting with a halo in platinum, requiring a new ring setting to be made, they said it was unlikely for them to be able to do that in a week.

Bump. I am living in Hong Kong and looking for more good jewelers. Right now I am using Hon Ngai in Central and TST, as well as another jeweler in Thailand for colored stones and design work.
