Where to buy online?

Hi people,

I''m really new to this and I would appreciate some advice. I am looking for a diamond and I would love to hear your experiences with buying diamonds over the internet.

Who are the best dealers, who to avoid, stuff like that. I''ve already done some research and it seems like Bluenile and Whiteflash are well spoken of. I also know to get the certificate and have a basic knowledge of what to look for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI I am looking for around 1 carat, F-G, VS2-SI1, Ideal or Excellent cut, Very Good or better Polish and Symmetry, faint or no Fluorescence.

Again I am just looking for a reputable dealer who will give me a good deal.

Besides the info above, you can look at the list of vendors that have a diamond you''re interested in, then do a SEARCH for the name of that vendor. It should pull up quite a few posts with PS buyer experiences.

Hubby & I are only just starting to shop for a new diamond so I have no recommendations, but I have read quite a lot of very positive posts about most of the vendors listed on the PS vendor list.
