Tonight I was at the baseball game with my fiance, and my ring sparkled like crazy under the lights there! I had the same experience a few months ago at the hockey game. I think sports are so boring, but now I don''t mind going as I can just look at my ring!!

We were with a few of my fiance''s colleagues (all men) and even they noticed my sparkly ring! So funny!!

I would have to say on a plane. My stone on our flight home was throwing off all sorts of sparkles on the side pannel by the window. Plus you could see lots of different colors. The next place is the grocery store their lighting is awesome. And of course restaurants, they have some great lighting for our sparklies.

I love seeing mine in sunlight! When I''m walking to class on a nice day, I try to walk in the sun as much as possible and try to surreptitiously look at my ring without people noticing! I love the flashes it gives off in bright sunlight. Sometimes, when I''m bored in class, I try to catch the sunlight through the windows to amuse myself.

Yes, I''m weird.

Haha! That is so cool Jadove! When the day comes that I get a sparkly on my finger, and my BF takes me to a ball game, I will definitely look for the extra sparkles. Actually it''s pretty unlikely that we will go to a ball game, cause we don''t watch sports. But there''s gotta be other prime sparkly places out there

My grocery store has that great track lighting over the produce section that makes my diamonds come alive. My husband gives me a hard time that I like to shop at that particular store just so I can admire my ring! I also like the lighting in a number of restaurants such as Red Lobster.

Great thread!!! The lighting in my sister''s church is great...How naughty of me to be distracted...I had to turn my ring around so I could pay attention

. Another great place is in the gym during my sons'' basketball games!!! DH gets really annoyed when I poke him and say, "Look at this! Look at this!" every 2 minutes. At the boys'' baseball games at night the light makes all diamonds soooo sparkly. You can tell that I''m at someone''s sports event every night. Tonight is was the batting cages and the lighting was only so so.

church..love what the church lighting did to my ring

it also reminded me to say a little prayer of thanks for my sparklie

I love my classroom lighting...we sit cinema type style with each level raised and overhead there are these spotlights (?) makes my diamond look really dark but tons and tons of fire!

Another fun place is Walmart type (I hate Walmart but it''s all I have out here in the middle of nowhere) lighting...my diamond gets incredibly bright and white with light pink light blue flashes...looks really fake but neat looking.

It has to be good jewellery stores. They always use good lighting to make their rings sparkle - I love to look at my rings in there.

Also the lift foyer at work - they have great down lights.

Bright sun, under a tall leafy tree when the wind is gently blowing creating tons of small moving light sources that are far overhead.

I second the airplane!

Any place with recessed lighting. (mostly nice restaurants)

In my car during rush hour during my drive home.

Sunlight.

Costco and Starbucks...and they''re 2 of my favorite stores!

Home Depot wasAmazing!

SavOn (this pharmacy/convenience store) has the best lights...my ring sparkles like crazy! I also love the light in my bathroom. It''s not hard to get my ring to sparkle, though.

Oh yeah, the bathroom. Any bathroom.

Oh Storm ... this sounds so visually romantic!

church lighting is the absolute BEST i have ever seen my diamond perform, restaurants are great too and the kitchen recessed lighting is great too, but the church just rocks the stone big time, i can''t even describe how amazing it looks. i can''t wait to see my 2.32 in the lighting!!

My favorite place to look at my diamond is definitely our bathroom. The stone just throws light everywhere like nobody''s business. I also love to look at my wedding band (18 princess stones, 2 rows) in the tanning bed, of all forbidden places! Three out of eighteen of the stones have blue fluorescense, and they are so mesmerizing to me! I wish I could say that it bothered me, but it doesn''t. You can''t see the fl. in daylight or any other kind of natural lighting, so I don''t really care. It''s like my own little secret--I haven''t even told my DH about it!

When I am driving in the car, if the sun hits my diamond at a certain angle, there are rainbows everwhere!! It is so pretty!
I will have to try the airplane thing when I go to Vegas next week....

oh- when we were on the plane back from vegas where we got engaged- sparkles went hay-wire! i could hear the passengers behind us talking about it...

and -- church, restaurants, bathrooms, and in my living room under the 4 ceiling fan lights.

In downtown Philadelphia: The Art museum, the Franklin Institute, the Phila Convention Center, the Grand Court at the Lord & Taylor store (formerely Wanamaker's, soon to be Macy's), Liberty Place, the Kimmel Center, the Wilma Theater, The Academy of Music, the Prince Theater, the Zellerback Theater,Tiffany's, Jack Kellmer's and The Grill Room at the Westin hotel.

Outside of Philadelphia: Saks Fifth Avenue and the King of Prussia Mall

In New York: The Cafe Pierre, the Trump Tower, any jewelry store and any theater.

In New Jersey: Any casino

I'm too chicken to wear any rings when I'm driving.

When I walk outside my RB is as white as can be!!! I went to my friends sisters wedding with him and OMG my ring was lighting the room up it!!!

HI:

In the garage with the door closed, with only the (low) incandescent lighting on.

And I also noticed the most incredible fire from my ER last week while watching a DVD upstairs bedroom, my back toward large window which was 2/3 covered (shade down), while the outside weather was dairly overcast. My hand was spread out on my leg and I causally looked down to see wonderful flashes that I don''t ususally notice....

cheers--Sharon

I gotta go with elevators...I love when I am by myself in an elevator and can just watch the sparkles!

In the store! Sparkly!

I agree. I love seeing it on the airplane! So sparkly. Home depot (all the mart stores really) are great too.

It is so nice to know that I am not the only one looking for the best spot to catch my ring on fire!! I would have to say the airplane is one of the best. I love dancing the different colored lights on the "wall" of the plane. My fiance just rolls his eyes!

Although every now and then he will catch it sparkling and tease me that it is blinding him.

Restaurants are also a great place to see the fire. Don't know what kind of light they are using, but it sure makes my ring sparkle and wink.

Firelight is another one that makes it dance.

So many light sources, so little time!

I''m still trying to figure this out, not from lack of trying!

Luckily, one of the best places to view my ring is at work (office). I thought this was not supposed to be the case but our arrangement of overhead lights somehow works. The diamond really sparkles there!

Ditto to all the above.
I would like to also add the lights from Vegas casinos and bathrooms.

My favorite place to see it sparkle would be on my hand.

But it''s not there yet!! Ug!!! The waiting is killing me!!!
