Where can i learn more about pink diamonds?

My grandmotehrs ring is missing a few pinkstones - how can i tell exactly what color pink they are? The picture doesn''t really show it well. I want to either replace the pink stones or change them all to white, except the larger center one. (You can see the pic under show me the ring/grandmothers antique e-ring.)

I have been trying to buy a small pink for a cute ring I want to give my wife and have practically given up. Vendors will claim to have 2P and it turns out to be more like a 6P, and are barely pink. Then there is tone versus value of color, very complicated. The best you can do is go see real stones and try and avoid getting hung up on charts and classifications.
