I was wondering if anyone has come across this in WG...

Or this in WG...

Basically, something very low set, simple & antique-y, no pave for a square stone.

This is the closest I could find that fits a square stone (see L1014 Model): http://antiqueengagementrings.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?page=2

This would also be a fairly easy custom job by the way.

this one is for a round, but it''s same look you are going for and cheap! You could ask them whether it could hold a square stone. http://faycullen.com/royal_collection/500/515md.html

Same idea here: http://faycullen.com/ring_mountings/500/604m3d.html

This one is for a rectangular stone: http://faycullen.com/ring_mountings/500/167m1d.html

You could get Ari at Single Stone in LA to make them up for you if he doesn''t have something similar in WG. He showed me trays of settings. Apparently they make a wax mold of anything antique that comes in that''s nice, so they can replicate that setting if someone wants it. I dont see why he cant make it in WG...

Thanks Kcoursolle. The first 3 are clearly for rounds (looking at the inside base). The last one is for a square but it isn''t quite right because it is too busy and I don''t FC''s return policies. I was also hoping to go non-custom if I can, but maybe there really isn''t anything like this as a stock item.

If you read the description for the 1014 model on the ae site, it says it''s for a square stone. Maybe it''s a mistake, but that''s what it says...
