I guess that hamsters are considered "replaceable".

LMAO! I''m sorry Rob, but that is fuuuu-nyyy.

I''m laughing because I''m pretty sure it will be able (probably already has) gotten out. Animals are usually much more resourceful than we give them credit for.

I say this because I kid you not, my cousin had a SKUNK walled up, (just like the guy in The Cask of Amantillado) in the stucco pillar flanking her entry. (New addition, new house) How this happened was a complete mystery, but as you might imagine, it caused quite the stir with her 9 and 5 year old boys. The fire department arrived and basically told us not to try anything ourselves and to just wait, and if it wasn''t gone the next day or two, to call out animal control. Her husband had tried to plug the hole that the critter had clawed out (you could see its nose if you got down on hands and knees), which was at the verrrry bottom of the pillar, (which meant this thing was butt UP the pillar, head down), earlier with a piece of steel wool (why I have NO idea). The steel wool disappeared, never to be seen, and the next morning the hole was no higher, but a bit wider, and the skunk was gone.

I''m sure the hamster will get out OK.

I''m sure the hamster will be living just fine in the sewers and then outside. Think about how many snakes, gators, iguanas, parrots survive just being dropped/left. And there are wild guppies and betta in MOST sewage systems

I have to admit, I wouldn''t pay to have my toilet replaced to get to a hamster, but then again, I don''t think I would ever keep a hamster as a pet...
