What's the very first thing you're going to do as soon as lockdown is lifted?

The social aspect of lockdown does not bother me, the lack of outdoor time does. Once lockdown is lifted I'll drive to the alps and go hiking (at a snail pace). I don't want to see a wall or roof as far as the eye can see. Once my parents are vaccinated I'll visit them stateside.

Go out to dinner for my BD and have my favorite pomegranate lemondrop martini.

Go home & visit my parents, hug my beloved dog for hours too.

I will continue to stay isolated until I’m sure it’s safe to leave...I would love to go back home to my husband...and visit my children...and grandson, Jackson, and his new brother that will be born mid June...I will still be very careful and stay home as much as possible..

Go to the Mall !

Go see my hairdresser to fix the disaster I made myself trying to bleach my hair. I have no regrets, I needed a change and you can barely tell how botched up it is on the video conference calls  But I absolutely cannot go out in public with it, so I'll need to get it fixed before venturing out anywhere else.

I am with @Mayk I just want to go back to the beach and the gym. I miss the open air feeling, and need to get some exercise as I've generally over eaten while on stay at home.

Although in reality I will probably actually go to the shopping center nextdoor and buy some seamonkeys for my 2 yr old the moment the stay at home notice ends. She seems to have changed again over this period, and is much more aware.

@Phoenix , Fly to SG so you can buy me a nice dinner while I admire your beautiful jewelry .. :kiss2:

Get back to buying new furniture for the family room and breakfast nook! I was just starting to narrow down what I wanted when corona hit.

Also, our trip to Washington DC (mid March) was canceled. Need to reschedule or at least get the funds back!

Schedule trips to see immediate family. Schedule all my non-critical health related appointments. Acupuncture, dentist, well woman.

Get my hair cut. I'm almost to the point of buying clippers, lol.

HI:

Buy some NEST candles. Out of desperation I grabbed some generic one at the market---SO STINKY. Clearly I'm not doing very well here…...

cheers--Sharon

I would love to go to an antique shop and just walk around and admire all the treasures while some Sinatra plays in the background.

Hug my family.

Well, I am one that does not believe things will go back just like that. It will take a long time and it will be gradual. People will hopefully be cautious because they should be. Remember we do not yet have a cure or a solution.

I am definitely not negative just realistic. I think we should all do something that lifts our mood. I would love to and will have to travel but not sure how soon that can happen. Until then once I can get bling made again I am making a ring for myself for my birthday.

Oh and I am also planning to move to a nice place, which will hopefully happen before quarantine is completely lifted where I am.

In a way it is not hard for me because I am much more introverted today but I hate things that restrict my freedom and free will, so this much restriction is hard.

I also find it extremely hard not to ever be able to wear my beautiful dresses, get made up and blinged up. I am not superficial but it is a part of my identity.

I don't think we'll ever go back to normal either. I think there will be a new normal whereby the threat of the virus will always be in the background, regardless of whether a vaccine or a cure is found (although Gilead has found a drug to help speed up recovery in Covid patients). I also think that a lift will happen in stages. There may even be a re-lockdown or partial (re)lockdown depending on progress or reversal of progress. But I have to remain optimistic bc it's been mostly doom and gloom.

I too miss getting made up, dressed up and blinged up for outings. I miss being ultra-girly.

See my parents. I think my dad misses me and is bored. He keeps trying to drive an hour each way to drop food off, and I had to remind him just yesterday that he promised he wouldn’t. My family shows love by feeding each other.

Oh the poor darling.

This will be me if I get to old age!!! Don't know what I'd do with myself if I didn't have a horde to feed!

I’d love to do the following:
1. Get my mom on the first available flight here from Jkt to LA.
2. visit antique jewelry shops to see some OEC.
3. Buy me some OECs.

They won't ever do buffets again will they???

You made me lol, mellow!!

Yes, they will!! And if they don't, I'll invite you over to my place ! You are such a fun and sweet person, I'm sure we'd have a blast. Seafood and BBQ (and BBQ-ed seafood) buffet OK for you? Foie gras a la plancha?

Maybe just good old iced tea!

The 2nd thing I am doing is giving my housekeeper a raise! Wow, I am pooped with all this cleaning and I really realize how much I appreciate her!!

Same here. She's actually the person I hope to see first when all this is over.
First the time being I'm paying her and doing all the scrubbing.

We're supposed to get 80% of that back with our taxes though. Smart move from our Govt.

Seafood buffet sounds heavenly!!! It's a date!!!

I'll bring random jewels and we can play dress ups!

OMG! I just looked at my grey roots today and they're HORRIBLE!! ;(

Our lockdown has now been extended til the 1st June. The VERY first thing I am going to do is have my grey roots touched up.

I am mortified!!

I can't imagine living my life exactly as before until there's a vaccine.
