Yes I do. I am meeting with the president of the company next week after viewing their stones at the last JCK show. These stones along with one other we will be introducing as next generation super ideals in the coming month. Both of these new rounds are being cut by facilities that both have BrillianceScopes and one is also working with the Symmetryscope (this particular 91 faceted stone). We already have one of these next gen stones in our store and have been *beta testing* it, not just with our lab equipment but with people who walk into our store even if they're not in the market for a diamond, just to get opinions. Full tutorials will be up in the coming weeks. Let me just say ... next generation super ideal cuts are on the horizon and their visuals are just incredible.

So what will be the premium for this cut, any idea?

And like a new car I suspect that premium will fade in a year or two.

I had spoken to someone who indicated he was producing those diamonds. Is the cutter a secret?

Hey Jonathan sounds exciting

Here is a very cute design you may want to explore; Using standard Ideal cut “sweet zone” dimensions use a ten fold symmetry instead of the usual eight.
On the crown side split the Rhombic creating two equal triangular facets and subdivide the girdle facets. Only problem its labor intensive and therefore expensive to produce.

Not exactly sure just yet.

Not if it is backed with lifetime tradeup for full value. Then if you ever decide to upgrade or change to a different shape/cut completely, you don't lose a dime.

Not necessarily. I would just say an unknown at this point.

Labor intensive yes. The bottom line of course is if it's worth the labor and extra expense. Let me just say that what I saw made my hair stand up and I am not easily impressed.

well jonathan, if you approve of this new faceted diamond, i may just have to wait for these babies to become available, and sneak a peek. i'm sure my boyfriend wouldn't mind waiting to purchase a little longer, heck, i've waited this long...i wanna see, sounds exciting
