Hello everyone!
my boyfriend and i are in the process of looking at engagement rings. I am pretty picky and I know what I like for sure. I have fallen in love with the Scott kay luninaire collection. I love the round center stone with a cushion double halo. The only thing that I don't like about the scott kay ring (shown below) is that, both in store and in pictures, I feel like the stones in the halo lack definition. I would like to be able to tell that there are tiny individual diamonds in my halo setting (without large gaps, metal showing, ect) while still keeping the sparkle factor. I was thinking that maybe it was the size of the pointers in the halo? Or maybe just the way the setting is designed? Any guidance with pictures would be Much appreciated!! I have attached some examples of stones that are "defined" in the halo below.
