Okay, so I went wedding band shopping the other day, and FELL IN LOVE

with an eternity band from Signed Pieces!! But, sadly, our wedding date is in June of 2006!!!

So, what do we do?? Wait and hope that the prices on eternity bands don''t skyrocket? Or do you think that I should jump on this now and hide it in a safe place??

So I guess my real question is whether you guys think prices on these type of rings will significantly go up within the next year, or if I''m safe in waiting about a year or so??

Well, prices won''t go down, that''s a pretty safe bet.

If it''s truly what you want and aren''t going to change your mind, then I say go for it.  It''s kind of nice to know you have your wedding band all safe and sorted out, and gives you more time to spend on the other wedding stuff.

An eternity band isn''t going to go up all that much in price. . .but, I agree, if you have the $ get it now. But, do you think you can resist the urge to wear your ring??? lol I picked out mine from an estate shop before marrying and ended up wearing it.

hey, MC, the good thing about wedding bands is that you can always have more than one...

If you have the cash and are sure it''s the one for you the get it now. You never know what styles and fashions the future may bring it could be harder to get in a year and a half doubt it though but stranger things have happened.

The prices on small diamonds looks like it is going to go up quite a bit.
Its one area where there is very strong demand right now outside the US and where there is demand price increases usualy arent far behind.

so true. . . and if prices ARE going up on little diamonds, this is all the more reason to stock up now. lol Too bad my husband won''t agree to this line of reasoning or I''d have a wedding band for every day of the month. . .
