what would you rather? a diamonds by the yard or earring jackets?

hey everyone, i''m approaching a special occasion and have been offered a present I have diamond stud (1/2 ct each) and a solitaire pendant (1/2 ct) I''m wondering if i should do jackets for the earrings or a diamonds by the yard chain that''s just a bit longer than my current chain? I''d likely go with whiteflash and wondering what others think or receomend and also if anyone has photos of either.

I also tend to wear the studs and chain daily so I''m thinking of something I can quickly add for some extra glam

I also have diamond studs - screw ons which are a pain. I wouldnt like to have to take them off/put back
on with jacket - I guess I''m just lazy

I vote jackets. I''m more of an earring girl to begin with, but I also can''t wear necklaces at the moment due to the extremely dangerous, chubby hands of my 3 month old.

I'd go with the DBTY necklace. My earrings are around .82 tcw and I wear them 24/7 and only take out to clean them. With the jackets, it seems like they'd be uncomfortable to sleep in and also would be overstated for my general style (jeans & t-shirts).

The DBTY would make for a nice simple touch.

ETA - but since you said you're looking for glam, the jackets sound right for you. They still may be a pain to take on and off. . .I also wonder if they make the studs stick out too far. I've never seen a good profile photos of the WF jackets.

I have both a DBTY style necklace and diamond earring jackets. Although I''ve had the jackets for a long time, I hardly wear them while I wear the DBTY quite regularly, so I vote for the necklace.

I''ve been toying with the idea of jackets, but personally, I think they''d be a special occasion only type piece for me, since I''m a "throw it on and go" type of person, and necklaces just suit me better for that reason.

I would go with jackets. I have a pair of jackets that I bought a lot of rather inexpensive gemstone earrings to wear with them, and I wear the jackets almost every day with gemstones. I am not much of a necklace person, so I wouldn''t go with the DBTY necklace. I hardly ever wear my beautiful diamond solitaire necklace, so I will probably not buy any more necklaces.

I’d do the necklace unless I have many studs that will fit the jacket. If so, then the jacket will get more wear time and be worth it.
