What would you give up to end COVID-19? For just yourself, your family/friends, and/or globally?

Drinking for a year, for life?
Current jewelry except bridal jewelry, future jewelry purchases?
$10K, $20K, $50K, $100K?
Watching TV?
Chocolate or other foods?

Or has it had minimal impact on your lifestyle, and/or you personally enjoy shelter in place?

We're totally fine in lockdown. I'm the only one who can't even leave the house, but Ive made peace with it.

I would be willing to make a sacrifice to assist with ending COVID. Not sure what it would be - it's up for negotiation!

I’m not going into detail but I would give any material possession to end something we are dealing with at the moment. And if we could end that then I’d give anything I had left (material possession) to end Covid 19 for everyone in the world.

I'm not sure what I would give up, but it definitely wouldn't be jewelry.

I think my jewelry would be one of the first things I give up if it could make a significant impact.

Since that's not the case, and it seems to be government policy where the biggest impact will be, I get to hang on to my bling.

@missy Thinking of you and your family, hope everything is OK!

I would give up quite a lot to end COVID-19, save lives, and get back to normal.

I could easily give up drinking and chocolate and jewellery purchases (not quite as willingly), but watching box sets in the evenings is helping pass the time.

We’re used to spending a lot of time together, so from that point of view, the lock down isn’t affecting us that much.

I would not be willing to give up travelling, as our only child lives 5000 miles away, and it’s already been 5 months since we’ve seen him and his fiancée in person.

I'm willing to give up whatever human action that contributed to the virus crossing over and becoming a pandemic. I know some changes in how we live on the earth could help, altho maybe not prevent another pandemic.

I have been working part time from home since September 2019, and continue to work during lockdown.

Therefore no real impact on the work front except for less travelling.

Just miss not being able to socialise or go out and about as and when I please, and am missing the face to face interactions with friends and family.

I would take the risk and have the vaccine as soon as it is available if that helps to regain my liberties back!

DK :))

Lol the sleep deprivation of having a child (and other related factors) triggered rosacea for me -- forcing me to give up chocolate and alcohol permanently last year. We don't own a TV and similarly with a little child we've more or less sworn off buying one (as we don't want to come home to see her watching it while we were at work).

I guess the only thing left on that list for me are the material posessions like jewelery -- an easy trade for ending something like this.
