What to do with a Tiffany engagement ring?

Hi there folks!

I have an old engagement ring that's been sitting around for a few years.

I'd like to wear it and not let it collect dust.

I don't want to break down the ring as I believe it has a lot of value if I keep it intact.

It's a Tiffany ring.

I went to Tiffany's to see what stacks I could create to make the engagement ring look less 'engagement' like - but I'm not sure. I'm including an image below as an example. My ring is the engagement ring one (same one that I have but the diamond is just slightly larger).

Should I purchase a second hand diamond ring and try to create a Moi et Toi ring?

Any insights would be amazing!

What about a custom ring wrap to make it look more like a cluster? You can do all diamonds, or maybe incorporate your favorite gemstone to make it look more cocktail ring-ish.

A wrap as suggested above is a great idea. I would not take apart a Tiffany setting as much of the value is in the fact that it is a Tiffany ring. Is it no longer being used as an engagement or wedding ring? Would you consider selling it and using the proceeds to buy another ring?

Do you plan to wear it on your right hand? If so, Will it be comfortable or will it sit too high?

Thanks everyone for your replies!

yes - I would plan on wearing it as a RHR.

I don't *think* it would sit too high - but then again - it is a very traditional Tiffany's engagement ring.

I was hoping to maybe buy something second hand to save some money - so I'm really open to ideas :)

Thanks!
