hi everyone- i have a 1/2 ct round stone (it''s ungraded but when i bought it 10 years ago i was told it''s an F- and it appears colorless to me when i compare to my e-ring) it''s currently in a bezel setting on a necklace, similar to the diamonds by the yard but with one stone. I have a different necklace that i wear daily- a smaller stone but with a halo. and studs. Any suggestions?

I was thinking of saving it as a center stone for a graduated 5 stone ring- but am open to suggestions? I don''t have kids so saving it for a daughter isn''t an immediate option...

would love to see ideas!

thanks!

How about a halo rhr?

I like the halo idea! Maybe something sitting low profile to the finger. Studs would be nice! Do you have the funds to purchase a matching stone?

I think you should halo it for a RHR. Here is my .66ct in its beautiful halo.

Yep, I''m all for this idea! I''d like one myself!

I should start a thread like this asking what to do with an ugly diamond? Its 3/4 carat, with a visible inclusion in
the J/k range uncert. The cut is terrible...no sparkle at all

Threadjack...sorry.

I had one like this too. I set it into a simple 4 prong set basket for a necklace. It looks decent that way.

Dont want to threadjack, but I have two of these "ugly" stones.... one .66 and one .48. They have lots of sparkle, would say they are about a H color, but BOTH have a visible black spot right near the edge and one had a feather in the middle of the face.... still would LOVE to do something with them......

oh and back on topic, I agree - the halo RHR

zag12-I would do a halo RHR

RHB girl-for the ugle diamonds

I would put them in a pendant or use for a DBTY necklace with some colored stones or melee diamonds. perhaps get a smaller mele diamond too, bezel them each, and either have them in graduating size, or the medium one, the small on as a connector, and then the bigger one.

I like the idea of a halo RHR - maybe even with colored stones in the halo.

I like the halo idea. I think this is a wonderful size for a halo!

I would do the halo or a 5 stone graduated ring that has the stones bezel set. Bezels increase the visual size of diamonds too!!

Great options you have!
