What to do with 20 small diamonds??

My inherited eternity band is size 8 - I am size 5 so I could wear it on a middle finger only, and even then it's a bit loose. It has 20 3.5mm-ish ex.G/VVS stones.
Someone suggested a chain[?] and I'm warming up to that. Is it expensive/tricky to have a chain made? Where is the best place to have it done?

you could have it made into a new eternity band? necklace sounds nice too! could you do a partial eternity and then use leftovers for a necklace? I know several of the jewelers on here will work with inherited stones. have fun!

thanks! I feel as though there are so many things that I can't decide. I had not thought of making a new ring. That might be a very nice thing to do to honor the old ring : )

I had inherited a ring that was enormous and I'm just over a 4-so that is what I did, it was really exciting actually. Can never have too many rings lol but a pendant would also be beautiful-or both

I love diamond brooches - so retro - so if a ring would be neglected I would say brooch.
I like how a brooch can be sneaked on anywhere, it's an extra dose of diamonds without being 'too much'!!

Otherwise I love the idea of smaller ring and a 'matching' bar pendant.

A band would be lovely. I also think a dbty would be lovely too but it can be expensive to get made. Good luck with your choice. Anything you decide in will be lovely.

If the diamonds measure 3.5 mm, that would make each stone about 17 points, that might be kind of large for earring jackets. I really like the idea of making a band in your size.

Me too. I love being able to see diamonds rather than just wear them. It's great how posting a question then talking with other PSer's helps clarify. Now to research bands and the different ways to set the stones...
