What should I put in this setting???

So I reset my original engagement ring a few years back into this setting…but recently I decided to move the diamond back to my original Tacori setting. Now I have this setting without a center stone and I'm not sure what to do with it. I went to one of those jewelry buying places and they wanted to give me $260 YEA RIGHT! She did suggest setting it with a colored stone or maybe a CZ before I try to sell it. What do you think would be the best thing to put in this?

I don't know anything about colored stones...I do know my favorite color is blue though lol. I really don't think I'm going to keep this after I get it set because I think it will just set in my jewelry box. The lady at the jewelry store also suggested a sapphire.
