I got a realllly good deal on this cute eternity band off ebay; the seller had it described as new old stock from the 1980s, which would surprise me, since it looks very contemporary and not ''80s style at all, but whatever. The price was fantastic ($200ish, if I remember right) and it''s really cute and surprisingly well made.

I can''t decide how to wear it though. I don''t usually wear an wedding band; my e-ring is plenty busy enough, and a band with it... well, it''s a lot going on on that finger. I love thumb rings and haven''t had one I like in a long time.

If I wear it as a wedding band, it''ll need sizing down at least a size, if not more like two. It does have a small sizing bar in the back, actually... it''s a bit bigger than a 7, my e-ring is a 6.5, and I actually wear a 5 or 5.5. (So, the e-ring is quite loose already, the eternity ring is even looser... it doesn''t look too bad in the pics, but its about 90 at the front desk at work today, and so my hands are rather swollen... nothing more fun that trying to look professional in a tank top with all my tattoos showing

but I will diiiieee if I put my jacket on.)

It does fit my thumb fine. I don''t really have a preference, I''ve been swapping it around all day and no idea what I like better. I will have to decide, though, since it doesn''t fit both fingers obviously!

I am surprised at how nice the melee is; very clean and decently cut... sparkly!

Pardon the craptastic pics. I could only find my ancient, ancient camera.

Last one. Only thing I don''t like about the band- boring profile.

I actually love it with your ering. I think it compliments it perfectly!

I like the band ring. I see why you would not want extra on your ring finger but think it does match your e-ring in a non matchy way. I don''t love other rings on the left hand so would veto the thumb ring on your left hand. How about wearing the ring on your forefinger (the one closest to the thumb) on your right hand. I like that look!

I actually like it with your ring.. if you dont like the sides couldn''t Greenlake do engraving I wonder??
Oh they could! They did my e-ring... ''twas $500, which is pricey but not terrible considering the cost of the band. Definitely something I would consider, and it would probably be a bit cheaper since it is less work.

Thanks for the input all :-)

(Wow my ering needs re-rhodiuming, I can really tell with the new band next to it!)

Pretty ring, congrats on a great deal.
I really like it with your e-ring.

hmm, it matches your ering in a non matchy way like Steel mentioned but I would rather wear it as a RHR (maybe middle finger, or thumb?), I second not having another ring on the left hand.

I like it with your e-ring!

Pretty ring. I do like it with your ering too.

I think it looks perfect with your ering. What a great find. $200 sounds like a steal

I also think it looks fantastic with your e-ring!
Great find!

I like it with your e-ring, too! It would look great with some other stackers, though as well.

I think that your ering is enough by itself, but I am not crazy about thumb rings, to me it just looks unnatural. What about a RHR? You could look into getting another band or two and doing the stacking, as I love stackers.

What a gorgeous little ring, I love it and it goes quiet well with your ering. Great price

Ditto this. I''d wear it on my right hand and search for other bands to stack with it!

I love your new band! I''d either wear it with your e-ring, as I think they''re a nice pair, or as a RHR.

Thanks for the ideas ladies! (SDL, your new avatar is very pretty!)

It looks like it''s going to live with the e-ring, at least for now. I''ve left it there, mostly, so I guess that''s where it wants to be; I find if I put it on my thumb I swap it back to my ring finger pretty quick, without thinking about it. It is a lot of stuff going on there on that finger, but hey- at least I''ll stop having to answer the "when are you getting married?" question!

It would be cool to stack with other eternities, but I''m *trying* to be good, however difficult that may be, and not spend $$$ on anything else. (Oh that Van Craeynest eternity band someone mentioned on the VC thread, which is on ebay right now, is freaking tempting though...) I wear a RHR every day anyway, so it really doesn''t have any good finger to live on with a stack of others.

Great find!! I love it with your e-ring!

Arg! Except my husband hates it with my e-ring.

What is he talking about? It looks absolutely gorgeous with your e-ring. Its like they meant to be stacked together.

Cute ring!

i think they look great together!

I think it would be pretty in a set of stacking bands for your other hand... or you could give it to me

Ha for what it''s worth, I do love it with your e-ring.
