What should I do about my cushion cut studs?

Hello,

I have a pair of cushion cut studs purchased last year from BN. When I purchased these studs, I just bought them. No research, No info about ASETs and under the illusion that diamonds are diamonds and if I got a VS FG color I'd be fine. My Studs are VS1 G color 1.01 each and I paid 10K for them. This year I was in the market for upgrading my E-Ring and I started to do some research and found PS. Once I started reading how you have to be very careful with Cushions and shouldn't buy them sight unseen, I started to wonder what kind of cushions mine are. I also went to a local appraiser(found through PS) and asked for an opinion and I was told "they are pretty" but, I didn't quite get the answer I was looking for. BN does have a upgrade program on them but, that would mean that I need to spend 20K with them and don't want to spend that amount. I kept my E-ring search separate and ordered it from IDJ (It's beautiful).

My question is, how do I know what kind of cushions I have? I looked through an ASET while at the Appraiser but, could hardly tell anything as far as if that was a good ASET. Attached a picture of them with my upgraded E-Ring from IDJ

They look really pretty from the pics. Bright and lovely.
Modern cushions of some sort (would need much better pics to tell you more)
BN's stock stuff is nice quality and I would buy uncerted studs from them if the price was right. They are on your ears. They don't have to be perfect, just bright and beautiful.
You already own them and are past your return period.
I'd wear them and love them.

This.

I think they look pretty rockin' from your picture. Maybe they're not PS-perfect, and maybe they are. I don't think it really matters in this case, for the reasons Gypsy said.

Yep, I agree with distracts and Gypsy - I'd just wear and enjoy them and not worry about it!

Thank you for your responses. At most times I feel that they are quite sparkly(except when they are dirty :-)). I've purchased a Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner to make sure they are clean but, I just want PS level now :-)

These diamonds are GIA certified and the inclusions are towards the edge of the diamonds. Below is the GIA info on them, if that helps with the cut evaluation. I am sure they are not Crushed Ice and they are not Cushion Modified either.

GIA for stone 1: 5121015209
GIA for stone 2: 2125015195
Both are of Carat: 1.01
