That’s the first I’ve ever heard of an oval barion but I love it. They have some interesting stones on their website!

I must have seen others - more oval than this, among oval listings. There are more cut models than names for them - if not many done on diamonds. Every cutter comes up with their own laundry list of models in some style or other... I recall this type of two-tier pavilions in somebeautiful Australian natural blue topaz around here.

I must be the last one to notice a fresh type of cushion at BN - allot of volume & busy faceting on the upper & lower girdle areas, a steep culet - so contrast face-up, small tables - they look nice & bright (picked one today in a post)

I keep seeing OMC at JA - often listed as 'oval'. They are very much in the same style, so I'd say new cut. many interesting items among fancy colors for sure. I wish someone did cover the entire D-Z range for once.
