I''ve been searching for an e-ring for the past few days and have viewed many internet sites, including most of the ones commonly discussed here. The quality and consistency of the information provided leaves much to be desired. Goodoldgold.com seems to disclose the most about a particular stone, whereas some sites don''t even have a picture of the stone being considered. What sites provide the most complete information? I''m a visual person, so I like all the pictures that GOG has on each stone (idealscope, etc). Thanks for you help!

BTW...my searching has been pretty much limited to H&A under 1 carat with great color and clarity.

GOG gives the most, then it''s probably Whiteflash. After that, not sure, probably several along the same info line.

ya, i am in love with the helium scan reports that gog gives. i am a complete stat junkie and am finding it hard to browse other sites for stones because of this.

Seven, good question.

What I do is look at the different sites that I like and get a list of questions and come on here or go directly to the resources/tools.
Quick question, What do you feel is the biggest challenge, as you search for jewelry?

Your singing my song, I love helium reports.
While they aren''t an absolute requirement they do rock and in my book are a huge value add :}

The biggest challenge for me is deciding which of the 4 Cs to compromise on. I won''t compromise on cut and ideally I won''t have to compromise on anything. But in reality I know I''ll have to. My first compromise is going to be carat, since the girlfriend really doesn''t want a large stone, so keeping size under 1 carat should allow me to get great color and clarity.
