What is your New Year's Eve beverage?

What are you ringing the New Year in with?

I almost bought a cheap bottle of champagne, but the fear of a headache kept me from picking one up. Instead, I'll be alternating between microbrewy beer and carbonated mineral water from Whole Foods!

Yeah, I'm not sure about staying up till midnight. The boys are at an age where they WILL stay up if we allow them and with the fireworks (just getting a few), seems like I may be stuck staying up. I told my DH I am going to sit here on the couch with the lap top until the PS contest is over and he said okay. lol He then mentioned doing shots of hard liquor but that means he'd have to go to the store...NOT so sure about that. A champagne hangover sounds much less painful!

But, I am lazy...going out on New Years is just too much work!

To chime in the NY- champers of course....

Last night it was beer and then (rose) champagne. But, i will drink most alcoholic drinks. I am not a fan of sparkling red, but i had ran out of my beers and that was what was going. Only took a sip for the obligatory toast..... A man must draw the line somehwere with his alcohol!!

Yum! That's known as "kid wine" when we have family gatherings at my parents' house - though it goes without saying that it's not off limits to the grown-ups!

Champagne - er - sparkling wine for me to celebrate the new year! But we're going out for Mexican food before that, so there I might have a margarita or cerveza at some point too. (Not to worry - they'll be separated by quite a bit of time!)
