You have to read this guys tweets, it's absolutely mind-blowing how he still has a job. I wouldn't let my kid go there.

Free speech is one thing. Most universities have some clauses about moral turpitude or creating a hostile workplace. It’s surprising to me that he previously won in a federal jury. It sounds like it’s time to revisit the issue, since he has bullied a minority student.

College students will vote with their feet. They are not going to choose the campuses that are behind the times on dealing with racism. If nothing else, a degree from a college with a poor reputation may make them less employable in a diverse workplace. His colleagues were right to object.

All of a sudden the landscape is very different.

Free speech does not mean you have the right to perpetuate racist tropes and call yourself an educator. This guy should be fired.

It's just sad. The University tried before to get rid of him because of similar things and he took them to court for over 7 years and won a buttload of money and backpay and now they won't touch him.
