I am thinking of buying a 5 stone ring from a high-end designer (Sasha Primak). The stones will be in the half-carat range. I called the designer today to find out the cut quality of their goods. The representative said that they use "Russian Cut" diamonds. Are "Russian Cuts" an actual cut or does it simply refer to diamonds cut in Russia?
