I''m a noobie with a question. (For background on me, see my answer to Christa''s question about long-term marriages and what kept us going.)

What does your "tag line" mean? Mine is "Aqua Bona Est," which means "water is good." It''s from my high school days as a Latin geek. Our school had "Language Olympics" each year. Each teams had a motto that it chanted to cheer its team on. Well. . .the Latin geeks didn''t know that until "the day." So we chanted the easiest thing we could think of. Even though I''m 41 now, it''s become a joke (and no, I don''t live within 300 miles of the other Latin geeks.) But it''s catchy, huh? "Aqua bona est, yes! Aqua bona est!" Sing it with me!

Gotta say, SevensOne''s is my favorite. . .about making all the stops because people are ringing the bell. What''s THAT all about? LOVE IT!

Good question! I have been wondering that about many of the people here... especially the others in latin.

Mine means "My laptop hates me" because the keyboard on my laptop is getting old and not every character or space I hit actually happens so a lot of things are missing or left out and it looks lke I''m a bloomin'' idiot when really I''m just too lazy to fix every single typo this darn thing makes. On my desktop I have no problem going back to fix things because typos bug me, but it''s an ergo keyboard and I prefer that over this one anyway. Not too exciting, but it''s my disclaimer!!

Ha! That''s so funny... love it! I had a keyboard that used to do the same thing... I used to have to punch certain keys just to make them work! Annoying...

There was a thread on this before, but always fun to hear from the new people.
Piece of cake and a candle refers to when I was calling a restaurant about doing something fun for my hubby''s birthday. I asked what we could do. The guy said lady what more do you need?? Piece of cake and a candle. It was so profound at the time and made it my tag line. What more does anyone need in life, piece of cake and a candle. Below my tag line is a reference to a special PS''er, and that PS''er has it on her''s to to refer to me. We have always said our friendship is a gift.

Last week my keyboard had an unfortunate enounter with a bottle of water. Instead of missing letters I got extra letters (and numbers) once the thing dried out, so I went to Office Depot and got a new one--the cheapest one they had, because they''re all the same right? WRONG! This one, brand new, is almost as infuriating as the one that took a swim because there are some letters (c and g in particular) that you have to hit really hard (often multiple times) to get to show up. Lesson learned, spend the extra 5 bucks!

(Sorry for the threadjack!)

~~Mine is in reference to the way I see things. I am a very optimistic person, and I have been told (more than once!!

) that I live in a fantasy world, and I don''t really see negativity in much of anything (esp. guys!! lol), much to the dismay of my friends. I also not only see things for what they are, but I try to see what they can become, like their potential. So I could look at a pile of rocks all covered in dirt, and still say "All I see are diamonds", which is the way I am in day to day life. I hope that makes sense...

my tag line always changes...this one seemed fitting for some of the discussions that were going on at the time. i love surfing around and finding cool quotes that fit what i am thinking at the time. also some of them i hear in songs or in a book or something and it just seems SO spot-on with my thoughts sometimes. i actually keep a little notepad of taglines that sound cool to me.

Like Mara, I like to change my tagline, just for fun. And sometimes to react to the conversations going on around me.

My line is a line from a song by the group Cracker. I believe the title of the song is "What the World Needs Now." I just love the line.
