It''s slightly "steep-deep" and just outside of ideal range, but I''m betting it''s still quite beautiful. It''s a WF expert selection so that means it was chosen for its close-to-ideal specs, visual beauty....and therefore value. Just because it''s not exactly within ideal cut range doesn''t mean it''s not beautiful.

Since it''s an SI1, you''ll want to ask someone at WF what kinds of inclusions there are and where they''re located. (you want to avoid carbon spots under the table and feathers near the girdle, among other things) I have an HSI1 steep-deep and it''s wonderful.

It has mostly cloud inclusions that are definitely not visible to the naked eye and are visible only if you squint really, really hard through a microscope. HTH!

thanks kristydarling,,,, I''ll be sure to find out about the inclusions. Does anyone know if wf will do a layaway to hold my stone so that way I could pay for it as I go because I still have like 5 months until my birthday ,,, but what I''m thinking is going to happen is that I''ll find the perfect stone for me and someone else will purchase it...

and plus,,, the more I think about it I don''t know if I want the bezel set pendent or if I just want a simple solitaire for the stone ... But I really do think I like this stone...

I know I really do like the first stone that I posted ..... well this one is the other one that I also like and it''s between the two... so if someone could compare them I know this stone is idea ... so which one would you pick....

well , I talked again with Renee from wf and they do offer a flexpay but it has to be for 1500 dollars or more and my project will be about 400 or 500 hundred off... So I guess I''ll have to jump in and look for a good stone when the time comes.... Who knows maybe I''ll even have more to spend on it then I have caculated!!!

both stones are very well cut, the first is just a little bit more steep but it's not a bad steeper stone and it's not that deep...it would still be considered an excellent cut in many people's eyes. for something like a non-ring stone i would consider it. otherwise the 2nd stone is better.

Oh Mara thank yo so much for posting and checking out my stones... So if I went with the necklace you think I should go with the first stone...... and if I went with the ring I should go with the second one.... or anyway it would be a good stone for a ring... I think I''ll go with a ring and try to get the second stone or at least something very close... Thank you so much Mara...
