I have a three stone ring with all three stones being .33ct . I''m not feeling this ring anymore.... I''ve even posted trying to find out how I should even wear it any more, until me and DH set down this afternoon and have found what we think is a gorgeous setting on www.antiquejewelrymall.com . I think this setting will make one of these .33ct stones look some what bigger and also will free up the other two stones for earrings!!! Which is a plus to me! The setting we picked wont take away from the size of the stone with alot of other stones all over it, It''s a solitaire style with fishtail prongs... here is a pic of the setting what do you think,,,

sorry here''s the pic.

....and here is the three stone. I''m just not into it with all three stones being the same size anymore.

LD, I love the setting you have chosen. I think the other two stones would make lovely stud earrings. I have a .34 ct round pendant, and I just love it.

I really like the idea. You get earrings in the deal and you can always get a pretty round eternity band to wear with it at a later date...(tee hee, I am always thinking ahead...)

I like that setting, too (and the earring idea!). I think the way those prongs are "framed", for lack of a better word;), will also make the stone stand out more.

~~I like the new setting too...

I love it and think it is a great idea!

Love the antique setting :)

Wow, how cool is that - a beautiful new setting and earrings to boot! I really like the new setting also.

Very pretty setting, I like it!

Thanks everyone!!!! I''m soooo excited about this!!!! I think the new setting is going to be awesome! And I have done and thought about the eternity band idea

I would love to find a antique style diamond band to wear with it!

Oooh, that was one of my top contenders! I didn't even know it came in a three stone style!

ETA: just realized that the three stone is not a different version of the antique style. opps. need more coffee. I love the antique one.

That''s okay IndieJones,,, I''ll be putting one of my .33ct stones in that setting to wear for a ering,,, and I''ll use the other two .33ct stone from my three stone ring to be set in some yummie earrings. My mom loves this idea... she said I need to find earring settings to match the ering!

This I will have to check into!!!

P.S. I also am hoping that I will get to place my order this week. I''ll be sending the rings to Winfields for the setting to be done, I know Winks bench does great work!

I love that setting! It''s going to help your center stone "pop!"

The other two stones would be perfect for earrings.

I do love your current setting, too. Are you going to put in colored gems there? It would be great for sapphires!

Ooooh, how would you feel about your current setting having 1 diamond and 2 sapphires flanking it? So pretty!

WOW!!! That''s a good question! I don''t know what I might do with the setting. Sapphires would look fab in it wouldn''t they. I''ve always said that one day when I will ever buy another diamond I''ll purchase it from Whiteflash so that way I can start with a gorgeous stone and be able to use their upgrade policy there after. This might be a good way to start. I guess I''ll just have to see.

ohh..or how about ering, saph-diam-saph ring, and a PENDANT! hehe so many possibilities...

gosh,,,, there really are sooo many different things I could do!!!! That sapphire and diamond and the pendent idea really isn''t a bad one!
