Admittedly, I know noth8ng of Diamonds. This is our first big jewelry purchase for our 20th anniversary. I’m the type of person who isn’t looking for perfection... I just need to love it visually. There is just something about this I love. I wasn’t looking to spend this much but......

Here’s the setting I’m hoping for:

Any thoughts??

Thx

It’s really pretty if the blocky/checkerboard faceting is your jam. If that is your preference, then go for it! I think a lot of people tend to prefer the more flowery or snowflake like look under the table, but that is just personal preference.
You could always have it sent to see it , and if you don’t love it then it’s no big deal to send it back.

It is really personal preference. Although I will say the chip in the last one is a dealbreaker for ME it may not bother you. I kinda prefer the first one actually, and the clarity is extra bonus for me

Thank you

I think the chip is a dealbreaker for me too because I’m not familiar with how they are usually handled and I don’t want problems down the line.

Yeah I’m not trying to scare you at all I just think seeing as you have other options better to be safe than sorry! Also if I remember correctly this is your last upgrade ( please tell me if I’m wrong) so I think it’s important to have the integrity of the ring close to perfect

The chip could be fine though hopefully others with experience will share their opinions!

No,not scaring me at all... I was Leary even posting that because I already wasn’t sure. I truly appreciate the advice!!!

I would probably also avoid a chip. I prefer the faceting of the other one from Grace as well.

Any options from Adam?

He never got back to me but I’ve been going back and forth and developed a really good rapport with Jonathan at AV. Victor Canera was too much and I’ve also been going back and forth but not as much with David Klass.

That's too bad. If you're still not finding "the one" I would try again.

Jonathan is lovely. Is David giving you stone options or are you just talking for the setting?
