I’ve seen this amethyst Art Deco ring and can’t stop thinking about it. I wouldn’t usually spend a lot on myself.



Specs available = Siberian Amethyst (approx. 2.6ct) - 14 eight cut Diamonds, 18ct gold + platinum.
I don’t usually wear yellow gold, that was my only reservation.

I think it’s beautiful. The WG prongs and WG shoulders should help if you’re worried about the YG shank - it’s effectively a face up white metal ring..

What about it do you love? I also think the price is a little high (I’m in the US though). I wonder how the WG is integrated with the YG. Is it a plating that will wear off over time and bother you (it looks very shiny and maybe freshly rhodium plated in the pics). I look at this ring and then look at your sapphire halo and wonder if you have one on each hand are you going to love the amethyst? That said, it has a very pretty gallery and I like the diamond shapes in it.

I also wonder about the 2 metals, the listing states it is platinum though. Purple is my favourite colour and I have a fashion/dress ring with a purple stone.
It is a bit similar in style so maybe I should go for something different.
