What do you think about this diamond?

Do you think $8k is a fair price for this diamond? I know the color is an i but I've seen it in person and it didn't look very yellow. I'm sure when placed next to an F colored diamond it would have a warm tone. But I was willing to sacrifice some color for size. Other than the color, is this a good diamond for the price? It would be set in a Gabriel Co cushion halo.

Thank you. I think so too. I'm just praying that the center stone doesn't look too warm compared to the stones around the halo.

I think you should be fine with an I colored stone in a halo.i don't think you will notice that the center stone looks tinted next to the dismonds in the halo. I'm sure there have been many pictures of I colored diamonds in haloes posted on this site. A quick search should alleviate your concern.

Thank you for the link. I can't see yellow at all in the rings on that post. My diamond has no flouresence, hope that doesn't make too much of a difference. I know some flouresence is good and actually preferred when it comes to i/j stones. Anyway, I'm less worried now. Thank you for your response!
