It could be nice; find out if it is eye clean since it is SI1.

Here is how it scored on the HCA: You can plug the numbers too here http://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp
Light Return Excellent
Fire Very Good
Scintillation Very Good
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.9 - Excellent
within TIC range

Also, you can search using this http://www.pricescope.com/sift.aspx use Excellent Excellent for cut (since cut is king).

Yes, it has potential. That''s about all we can say without pics.

Need to ask about eyecleanliness. Also, it''s facing up a bit small, due to depth and possibly girdle.

For my money, I'd get this stone: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/3401/

The I color will face up white in that size. The smaller depth % makes the stone actually face-up larger than the Blue Nile one. It appears to be eyeclean, though I would call and ask. And while I was at it, I'd ask about the thin area on the girdle. If those check out, you've got a great stone. And the cut is fantastic. And you save money. :)

If that stone doesn't check out, yours does have potential also, and I echo what those before me have said.

i guess i''m just trying to get the best 1.3 carat stone for under $8000. please let me know of others. thanks so much for the help, the fiance will really appreciate it :)

try this you can search using this https://www.pricescope.com/sift.aspx use Excellent Excellent for cut (since cut is king) and price pops up too so it should help.

Leave AGS and H&A at the default and then choose your parameters on the right; if the stone is an SI1 you need to ask the vendor if it is eyeclean and their definition of eyeclean. Hope that helps.

Facetfire linked a beautiful stone.

It''s hard to hit that number, and slightly below will have the same presence on the hand.

Facetfire picked a good one, but at I, I wouldn''t say you won''t see anything, since I don''t know how color sensitive the wearer might be. It''s a beautiful stone to be sure though.

Also, here''s another nice one. Definitely safe in color, need to ask if eyeclean. 5% off with PS discount, AND, 10% off a setting during the month of December.

Maybe. Because with this strictness of criteria, you may be pressed to find a truly exceptional stone that meets it all.

I''m not sure why you need to hit the 1.30 mark, unless it''s for bragging rights. The difference in diameter we''re talking here is miniscule.

Good luck!

it looked pretty eye clean but I would keep searching or wait to see if more inventory come ups.

Ditto what Ellen says, also if you do find an H VS2 you want to make sure the cut is excellent.

And ditto this. I think I know what you''re seeing, and it''s not an inclusion.
