Ok guys... I promised to keep you all posted. I found this great diamond and it''s got 99.9% of what i''m looking for. Looks great even in the dark.. :) So please let me know if you guys think this is a good deal or if I should keep looking.

Diagram:
As far as the diagram goes it has 1 small cloud but it is not viislbe to my 20/20 vision and i did see it under 10X mag. but i had to look at it from th side to see it. It also has 1 small needle or feathers by the girdle on the edge.
So what do you guys think? For me the most important thing is cut and the proportions looked pretty good to me. GIA doesn''t give enough info though... This diamond has a lot of life that i could see but i''m not an expert.

GIA''s Ex-Ex has nothing to do with what this stone looks like... so, aside the 11k perhaps so cut pedigree could be expected?
Not as a matter of principle, of course. Just for comparison with this E-SI1 perhaps.

VERY NICE DIAMOND BUT VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE IN THE $9200-$9700 AT MOST.

Anyone else think it''s too expensive for what it is? I just got the word that the appraiser I hired to do the work finished. Called him and he mentioned that the diamond is great and the brilliance factor or whatever is like 88.5%. He liked the diamond and thought the price was good. Looking at various sights including this one i noticed that there are stones for that price and these specs out there although i''m sure i''m paying a premium. The store i''m buying the diamond from says they need 10 back for this at $11,500 and mentioned he''s making 10. Sooooo. Don''t know. So far it''s a go.

I''ll get the rest of the report from the gemologist tomorrow and let you guys know the specs.

I'd haggle. Tell them that you saw several comparable diamonds in other stores and online... Tell him you like this stone, but feel it's too expensive for what you are getting, and see if he will budge. If not, give him your number in case he changes his mind, and let him sit a couple days... If you name a reasonable price, he might get a call back. A lot of times they will take some profit when compared to no profit.

By the way, when I bought mine, it turns out blue nile was making roughly 500$ over wholesale prices... That's a much tighter margin than $1500
