It's beautiful! Congratulations! Are you happy with it?

its for my girlfriend, i will give it to her in a week.. im kind of nervous..

its nice. How do you feel about the prongs? Maybe it's just me, but they look a big large. Maybe wait till you give it to her and see how she feels about it. It is a beautiful ring!

well i dont know a lot about rings, jamesallen give it to me just like that... i dont know if the prongs looks bad or what do u think?

For my taste, yes they look a bit big. I probably would have had them changed to claw prong since it's a smaller stone.

ill wait to see how my girl fell about it,,, its a nice idea to change it to claw prongs, but im out of money haha... :((

I think the ring is lovely! Good luck with the proposal!

I understand that! Good luck! It is beautiful!

Very pretty ring! Good lucky with your proposal and do post some hand shots when she is wearing it.

thanks!! i will post some shots for sure

I think it's really pretty!

On the plus side thicker prongs are stronger and safer.

Occasionally we get a post from someone who lost their diamond because the prongs bent.
I would not mention the prong size to your gal.
If she brings it up, be understanding and change it if she inststs but not after telling her smaller prongs are not as strong and safe.
All other things being equal, thick metal is stronger than thin metal.

Since you asked I think the ring is too thin for a e-ring (especially since the ring is made thinner and weaker by setting little diamonds in it) which is expected to hold up to a lifetime of daily wear and tear without bending or having little diamonds pop out.

There have been several threads on this issue here on PS.

Tell her to be very gentle with it.

Just because every vendor sells something out of competitive pressure does not make it "safe" for everyone's different lifestyles.
Don't mean to spoil how you feel about the ring, but you asked and I think this is a very important issue affecting today's popular ring style.
IMHO form should follow function.
Diamonds and rings are expensive and there are ring designs that are safer.

I think it is beautiful! I personally love the look of it and also how versatile it will be to match (or non-match) with wedding bands. I think it would look great with a stack

As far as the prongs go I would like them shaved down a bit for my taste. I think it will make the ring look more whole and fluid. It shouldn't be expensive to do at all. However, I can totally understand not bothering if your GF doesn't seem to care.

Goodluck with your proposal!

It's lovely!!!

i think the prongs look larger because its a glamour shot. see how they look in real life. ( everything looks bigger when shot that close)

Ad i think you did very well with your budget! itll be lovely and that F will be like a little white fireball :)

You did a great job - it's a lovely ring! Good luck with your proposal!

I think it's beautiful. Congratulations on your upcoming engagement!

I think it is lovely. Congrats on picking it!

It's lovely! I would also have the prongs shaved down a bit though. James Allen should be able to do the fix for you at no cost since they made the ring.
