What do I do after purchase?

So after I make my purchase (I''m so excited!), what steps do I need to take? Do I need to find and independent appraiser? Or will the local jeweler I''m buying from do that? (P.S. I trust the jeweler) Do I contact my homeowner''s to get it insured? Anything else I need to do?

The first step would be to get insurance, try your homeowners first to see if it is covered, if not then try these companies
