I am on the fence buying this ring because -while I can confirm the rest of the ring's diamonds are OEC and OMC cuts, this one looks a little splintery to me like a RB and has me a bit puzzled. Can anyone tell looking at this picture if it is/is not an OEC or OMC?
Well, I finally heard back from the seller today who was having her gemologist look at the diamonds in the ring to ensure they were in fact all old euro and/or mine cuts, or a mix of cuts before I bought it, and it turns out three of them were either "old English" or tolkowsky cut stones. So, no dice for me, as I didn't want that combo of cuts in the ring, though it could be cool for someone who liked all different cuts of diamonds ... Luckily, I had a couple candidates for what I was looking for so I have another option.
Thanks again to those who confirmed my suspicions so quickly so I didn't end up with a regretful purchase. This isn't a super high dollar purchase, but that doesn't necessarily make it any less frustrating when it's not what you expect.
