So I am going to be a bridesmaid in a friend''s wedding in March. We''ve got our dresses already, but I''m having a hard time picking out shoes. All of the other weddings I''ve been in have just said to get black shoes (which I also did for my bridesmaids at my wedding), but this dress is a very light green, and the bride and I agree that black would be too harsh. There is only one other bridesmaid, so the bride said to just pick a color, and she''ll tell the other bridesmaid to get the same color as mine, since I am obsessed with shoes.

Anyway, sorry for being long-winded. Here is the dress. We have it in sage, which turned out to be much lighter than it appears in the swatch.

I''d go with gold, silver, or champagne. What color shoes and dress does the bride have?

Thanks for your replies guys!

The bride is wearing gold shoes, and her dress is ivory. The thing is, if we get gold, she wants them to not be too "metalic". Like a muted gold.

Champagne was another choice. But I''m not sure how much I''d wear champagne after that...

Lala, good choices. I''ll have to run some of those by the bride.

By the way, these are the bride''s shoes, so you can see what I mean by more of a "non-metallic" gold.

hers are very muted and not shiny, which is really nice. I think you''ll be able to find something. Zappos is great. I only got through two pages and there were six, plus they have free shipping and returns, so its easy to try and return. I think Macy''s/Dillard''s or another department store may have something that could work to. I think the brand Nina does a lot of dressy strappy shoes.
