what are your thought on this inclusion - SI1 diamond

I would ask the vendor to pull the stone (if it is in house) to give you their opinion. The depth of the stone is deeper than I like; you are losing some diameter because of the depth.

All people have different tolerances in terms of color and clarity; for me it would be a deal breaker. Again, not all people think alike but even if I couldn't easily see it, I would be looking for it all the time. Just my OCD nature. Might not be yours or hers - whoever is going to wear the stone - so that might make you luckier than me - lol!

There are so many round stones to choose from in so many color/clarity combos that I wouldn't settle for something that I might not like. I would choose well cut over either of those other categories though every time.

That black inclusion as an SI1 in a stone of that size would be a deal breaker for me.

i guess your right, its been bothering me as well, i was just hoping it wouldnt be noticeable.

For me, it would haunt me everyday and I would regret the purchase. Especially because you see multiple inclusions depending on angle because of the faceting. I'd rather find another SI1 with more hidden inclusions or go down in size and up in clarity.

If I were you, I would avoid that diamond even at VS2 rating. A dark inclusion near or at the center of the table is much easier to see even when the diamond is ideally cut. I have bought SI2 diamonds that are eye clean with white feathers near the edges. They look no different from VS1 or higher clarity diamonds. The key is to pay attention to the types, locations and sizes of the inclusions.

That stone would be a "no" for me due to the dark inclusion. Try to find white inclusions which may still be noticeable but wont
stick out like a black inclusion.

If you give us your spces/budget we may be able to help find something.

Nope, big black inclusions under the table are a dealbreaker for me.
