Okay, so the economy sucks, blah blah blah. But for a shopper like me, the bad economy means I am finding some DEALS. So I''m curious...what are the best bargains you''ve found lately? What percent off was it, etc.? Pictures are more than welcome, of course!

I'll start it off! I had been looking for a dress to wear to my graduation (which is this Saturday-woohoo!) and I found this dress on sale. It was marked down from $477 to $96 and I used a 25% off coupon code. So it was only $72! I ended up getting it for about 85% off. I love deals like that!

I got a Pyrex 18 piece set for $12.88 (that's after $20 mail in rebate but it still counts, right?!)

I also found these Kate Spade "Katie" pumps for around $80.. they're normally $295 - I thought that was a steal.. here's a pic..

**I bought them in BLACK patent but I could only find a picture of them in this pink.. (which I personally don't really like..)

And they are actually really comfy as far as heels go.. that Kate Spade makes an awesome shoe!!

Ohhh I''ve been getting all kinds of good deals. I got this gorgeous DVF dress for 70% off (it''s more raspberry than the picture would make you believe). That was my favorite deal so far... Now I just have to fit into it after the twins.

Ohhh and how can I forget about my eternity band! I got this from Dover Jeweler''s via ebay. After my coupons and discounts it was less tha $600. Platinum with 1.2 ctw of single cut diamonds. Very yummy. This is my reward for these twin babies!

It's antique, so unfortunately they don't have more as far as I know! I actually lucked out because the auction had an issue, so even though I won they had to list it again for me as a buy it now for me to pay. So I used live.com's cashback program (which netted me $200 off) and stacked that with a paypal/ebay coupon that I had been sent via ebay. It was a deal to begin with, but then turned into a stellar deal once I added those things on!

Sadly I don't...my fingers aren't so lovely and little right now so it doesn't really fit me!!! I hope they slim down as soon as the boys are born, they are lovely little sausages right now.

Love that band, Neatfreak. And I love Dover, especially for economical vintage pieces. I was *just* outbid on a cute vintage emerald and diamond eterntiy band in platinum (that sold for $320) the other day. Now that''s a deal!

There is this cute little boutique nearby that I really like (Karen Millen) and I found these fabulous leopard print flats for $40 marked down from $250. I''m also not much of a brand-name girl, but a couple of months ago I found a Prada shirt that I liked marked down to $40 as well. I''m not much of a shopper, but I really do love bargains.

My best deal is Amy''s organic frozen dinners for 1/2 price! lol I have a bunch of Macy''s coupons and plan to use them today or next week!
 
my best deal...should not have purchased it but....went in to TJMAXX for a dress shirt and found 25%off of clearance ....found dress shirt and then ran ...not walked to jewelry dept...every once in a while i find a killer deal in their jewelry...found stainless gents bracelet with 5 large solid 14kt gold plaques...paid $15.00...found exact same bracelet at jeweler I worked for ...their retail$259.00....me thinks i got a decent deal!

Gorgoeus ring..LOVE Dover!! Just wondering about these coupons/discounts..it seems it's only offered to those living in the US?? Is that due to the poor economy ..are they trying to get people to buy? I refuse to buy anything on E-bay right now..the exhange is RIDICULOUS..only a month ago, the Cdn dollar was pretty much the same as the US $. Now if something cost $200 US, it would cost me about $ 280..(CRAZY). Too bad E-bay isn't offering us Canadians incentive as they are Americans!

My best bargain was the 1 carat diamond bezel set band, in 18k white gold, from Dover..for about $400.

Dover is great, they have some wonderful deals for sure!

As far as I know both things are US only unless your country''s ebay issues you a coupon. I don''t know why they are doing it, I know that Live.com is owned by microsoft and the cashback is being paid by the companies advertising on there. They are trying to get their search engine up and going. But not sure how long it''ll last or whether the percentage will go back up (it''s at 8% cashback now but has gone as high as 35%).
 
eBay was just running a "$1 Doorbuster" promotion where they were listing different items each day, and each item sold for $1 with free shipping! I managed to snag a copy of Planet Earth of Blu-Ray, a copy of Iron Man on Blu-Ray and a Flip Ultra Camcorder for a grand total of $3!!!

I am so excited about the camcorder. I am bringing it with me on my honeymoon to capture all the fun stuff we do.
 
I got a new down jacket from Land''s End (getting ready for the long COLD Minnesota winter) for $69.50 (30%) that was originally $99.50, plus free shipping. I was pretty excited about that - it wasn''t a great deal, but normally Land''s End doesn''t put their coats on sale until spring.

Hey..I got a new land''s end down coat from Land''s End too..was about $65 (through the Sears website). Chocolate brown..long..great for our -35 degree winters!!

I''m not usually a bargain hunter. If I find something I like that''s in my price range, I buy it. Well, I loved a pair of earrings I had seen at Banana Republic, but was never sure I wanted to buy them because they were $40 or something. I was hesitant because it seemed too expensive, but I eventually went back to buy them. They didn''t have them anymore and I was kind of bummed, so I walked around the mall some more and ended up in Forever 21. I found similar earrings (not the same, but a similar style and just what I wanted) for $1.25!! Crazy! I''m so glad I didnt'' spend the $40 and found something I loved for so little.

NEL-I LOVE Karen Millen! UK designer, right? I once went on a mission for a white denim motorcycle jacket from Karen Millen that a girl had on. They ended up not having my size but it was so cheap I convinced my roommate to buy it in her size! And who could say no to $40 Prada?

MC-I love the Amy''s frozen dinners! Half off?! I don''t think I''ve ever seen them that cheap!

All these bargains are making me a little broke, though...I''ve been spending more on clothes than usual because I just cannot pass up stuff I love that''s super cheap!

My recent OEC/transitional diamond from ebay, 0.47cts G VS1 was only $420USD..The seller had it up with a BIN and make an offer, the BIN was almost twice what I offered, so I was pleasantly surprised when she accepted !

ARGH! This is frustrating for me...FI and I have had our eyes on a panasonic plasma (top rated by consumer reports, etc.) for a while...Amazon had it marked down to $650 on Monday, with FREE in home delivery....

Today it is back up to $1000 =( Oh wel, I guess we should just save instead...
