WF ACA H&A earrings

Hello everyone, I''ve only posted a few times in the past and has been away for a while but now I am back (mostly lurking the past few weeks). I''ve never thought much about diamond studs but in the last 2 months or so, I''ve developed a "want" for it. I bought small czs to see how I''d like wearing studs first (small enough so they''re not obviously fakes). Well, I liked it a lot that I began to want the real thing. I''ve always worn hoops type earrings but found the studs to be great for everyday use. So, my impulsiveness lead me to get it on an internet site that''s along the line of bluenile and such. I don''t know what I was thinking. Did I not learn enough here to pick a better vendor? So, I got a 3/4 carat H/VS on platinum and couldn''t wait to get it. Well, I was not impressed with the earrings at all and I sent it back today. It looked OK but just did not have the sparkle I expected. I''ve been going back and forth with some rounds at WF and finally decided on ACA H&A I SI1. I can''t wait to get them. I should get them on Wednesday. They''re just small as they are technically my first diamond studs and if I upgrade later, I don''t think I''d go any larger than .50 on each ear anyway. I hope I made the right choices. The tables have a bit f a difference so I hope they willl look fine. The two came up as matches so I went for them although there is another slightly smaller stone that has tables closer in numbers. The WF staff I dealt with thought they''d look good together as earrings. What do you think? Thanks for reading my long post.

Great choice! You can''t go wrong with WF ACA martini setting studs! Yum! I bought a pair very similar (setting, size, and color) to yours a little over a year ago. I love them and wear them everyday! I''m sure you''ll love yours too!

Here they are. I am so happy with them. The sparkles under sunlight are so remarkable compared to my non-ideal e-ring. Now, I know the difference. I didn't know anything about ideals 15 years ago when I got my e-ring. My upgrade will definitely be an ACA/H&A. Thanks for letting me share.

I have a few questions for friction back owners: Do you wear your earrings to bed? Also, do you push the back all the way to where it sits comfortably on your ears or do you let it rest right on the groove? Am I making sense? It just scares me a bit that the groove is close to the end of the post that I am afraid it may pop out. It feels very secure though and it feels it will take a lot of force for it to pop out.

As for your questions, yes, I wear my studs when I sleep. It doesn''t bother me but some people can''t stand them. Try it out a few nights and see if it bothers you. I push the back all the way to where it sits comfortably on my ears.

Gorgeous earrings!

I just got a pair of ACA studs a few weeks back!

I wear mine to bed and I push the backs beyond the groove so the back is touching near my lobe. I''m not sure if this is the right way to wear them, but so far the backs haven''t budged.

They look lovely! Great size for your ears. I wear mine all the time taking them out to clean them- it''s amazing how greasy they get. I wear them to sleep and I do push the friction back as close to the back of my lobe as possible. I am sure that the groove is as far as needed but as I can''t feel it pinching I''d rather just move past the groove.

Thanks, ladies. It''s a great everyday size for me. I may want a 0.5- 0.75 (max) someday for special occasion

. So much for my initial post of 0.50 each ear max. But I seriously think I would go past 0.75 each ear. But that would be a long time from now, I still need to work on my e-ring upgrade
